Michael Boone first opened Magic Cycles in 1993 with the aim of expanding the cycling community in the High Country.

While we always have our eyes both towards expansion and providing an excellent experience to our out of town visitors, the collective head and heart of the shop is anchored in downtown Boone, North Carolina. We pride ourselves in being the regions premier bicycle shop.

The staff at Magic Cycles comprise of riders first and foremost. We are focused on offering engaging and friendly service in the shop, inspiration on and off the bike, and stocking the products we believe in.

We want to offer a quality experience to you because we expect the same; ultimately we want you to feel the same unbridled joy on the bicycle that we do, to experience the glory of the High Country in full communion with it’s difficulties and rewards.

Give us a call, use the form, or stop by. We would love to serve all of your cycling needs including rentals, accessories, bike adjustments, and fitting for a new bike.
